Could actor Norman Reedus go from one comic book adaptation about the living dead to another?
According to Schmoes Know, Reedus, aka The Walking Dead's badass Daryl Dixon, is up for the role of "James" in Relativity Media's reboot of The Crow. The site doesn't know who this "James" is exactly since Fast 6 and the Hobbit's Luke Evans is already set to play the titular hero Eric Draven.
They also claim that the film's "producers apparently were looking at none other than Kristen Stewart for the role [of Shelley]. However, the producers and studio 'shied away from the idea after hearing that she wouldn’t attract an audience.'” OUCH.
But seriously? After all that Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman box office success? She's a far more bankable movie star than either Evans or Reedus are.
F. Javier Gutierrez will direct The Crow from a script by Cliff Dorfman. Production is slated for early 2014.
